With nearly 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Florentino "Chef Flo" Gutierrez brings restaurant-level skill and creativity to OrganicLife's school kitchens. His passion for food began early, working alongside his family and it continues to guide every menu he develops today.
At OrganicLife, Chef Flo blends his classical training with a deep commitment to nutrition. All menus are built from scratch and his team uses batch-cooking techniques to keep meals fresh, flavorful and nutritious throughout each lunch period. "We don't just heat and serve," he explains. "We cook continuously so every student gets food at its best."
Students quickly notice the difference, from the quality of ingredients to seeing real chefs in the kitchen. "At new districts, the first thing kids say is, 'Wow, we have a real chef now,'" Chef Flo says. Whether he's crafting daily meals or teaching students during OrganicLife's Pizza Challenges, Chef Flo's goal remains the same — to help students enjoy healthy food made with skill, pride, and care.
